USES OF MAXIFLO 125 INHALER

Treats:

  • Asthma
  • Severe chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases (COPD)

HOW MAXIFLO 125 INHALER WORKS

MAXIFLO 125 INHALER helps in treating asthma and COPD, where fluticasone is a corticosteroid which inhibits the agents that cause inflammation and results in reduced swelling and inflammation in the lungs. Formoterol is a beta-2 receptor agonist which acts on certain receptors and stimulates the release of an enzyme called cAMP. The rise in the levels of cAMP cause the muscles of the airways to relax and dilate. It also inhibits the release of chemicals that cause hypersensitivity such as histamine and leukotrienes. Together they help in improving and easy breathing.
